Azerbaijani Ambassador presents credentials to Acting President of Ecuador
Azerbaijani Ambassador to Ecuador Elnur Sultanov has presented his credentials to Acting President Jorge Glas.
The Ambassador asked Jorge Glas to communicate greetings of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to President of Ecuador Rafael Correa.
He noted that he would spare no efforts to contribute to developing relations between the two countries.
Jorge Glas also asked the diplomat to deliver Ecuadorian President Rafael Correa`s greetings and best wishes to President Ilham Aliyev.
He said Ecuador was interested in developing cooperation with Azerbaijan.
Elnur Sultanov met Acting Foreign Minister of Ecuador Leonardo Arizaga, Minister of Non-Renewable Natural Resources Pedro Merizalde, Deputy Minister of Foreign Trade Roberto Betancourt and other officials to discuss prospects for cooperation between the two countries.
The Azerbaijani Ambassador also met with Secretary General of the Union of South American Nations Ernesto Samper.
