Baku 2015 flame arrives in Goranboy from Barda
The Baku 2015 flame has arrived in Goranboy from Barda.
At the symbolic gate of the European Games in the region, the flame was accepted by local athlete Khayal Huseynov.
Ten torchbearers then started their 4km long route and carried the flame into Heydar Aliyev Center to the sound of wild applause.
World champion Yalchin Garayev lit the flame of the European Games.
The event participants watched a footage highlighting a ceremony to light the flame of the Baku 2015 first European Games in Ateshgah temple.
A special commemorative lamp of the Baku 2015 was lit.
The flame then continued its journey to the next destination, Naftalan.
