Ali Ahmadov: It is impossible to separate the notions of Heydar Aliyev and Azerbaijan from each other
“It is already a tradition that we are widely celebrating the birth anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev. This is a sign of homage and respect of every Azerbaijani to Heydar Aliyev, to Azerbaijani statehood,” Azerbaijani Deputy Prime Minister, deputy chair and executive secretary of the New Azerbaijan Party Ali Ahmadov has told a conference titled “Azerbaijan in the modern world” marking the 92nd anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev.
“It is impossible to separate the notions of Heydar Aliyev and Azerbaijan from each other.”
Ali Ahmadov said it was national leader Heydar Aliyev`s ideas that ensured Azerbaijan`s current accomplishments. “We will celebrate the 24th anniversary of our independence this year. However, Azerbaijan has already proved itself to be a worthy member of the international community. Azerbaijan is the only CIS country to be a member of the UN Security Council. This is a manifestation of respect for Azerbaijan.”
